To get there, visitors typically fly into Navegantes or Florianópolis airports. From these points, it’s a scenic drive to Bombinhas—about 70 km from Navegantes and 90 km from Florianópolis. Bombinhas is an invitation to connect with nature and discover sustainability in everyday life. From beaches to forests, from mangroves to coastal sand dunes, the peninsula is home to a diverse range of natural environments of the Atlantic Forest. To protect and preserve this natural heritage, the city has implemented an Environmental Preservation Fee for all vehicles entering the city, banned the use, commercialization, and distribution of single-use plastic and styrofoam disposables as well as plastic bags, maintains the Blue Flag program on three city beaches, and the Local Tourism Economic Development Program – DEL Turismo.
