Founded in 2019, our association began with the dream of creating a stronger and more visible Umurbey Village by bringing together the women of our community. More than 20 women gathered in the village square to prepare and share traditional local products. Since then, we have continued our work without interruption, growing stronger each year.

Our mission includes revitalizing and promoting our village, sharing the story of our olives and olive oil, and preserving traditional flavors for future generations. Above all, our greatest motivation has been our scholarship program, which now supports 17 students. Visitors can enjoy our authentic products while contributing to these scholarships.

Cumalıkızık is a village (now officially a neighborhood) located in the Yıldırım district of Bursa, Türkiye, approximately 11 kilometers from the city center. Our village was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2014.

Here, we established the S.S. Cumalıkızık Women’s Agricultural Development Cooperative. Our cooperative is located near the village entrance, close to the square known locally as Eyrek.

We have a beautiful garden with a vine-covered pergola and several fruit trees. The lower side offers a scenic view of the plains, while from the upper side you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Uludağ.

In addition, we have an indoor space with tables, traditional floor seating, and a fully equipped kitchen. One section is also dedicated to our production area, where we prepare and create our local products.

The Hamamlıkızık Women’s Initiative Production and Management Cooperative, established in 2023 with 108 female members in Hamamlıkızık, is an exemplary initiative that combines local development and sustainable tourism.
The restaurant, operated within the cooperative with an eco-friendly approach, brings together Hamamlıkızık’s locally sourced agricultural products and traditional culinary culture with visitors. Handmade products such as the local NEBİDEDE soup, which dates back centuries, as well as jams, sauces, tarhana, noodles, and sourdough bread are offered in accordance with the principle of local production and local consumption.
