250 km cycling route uniting alpine scenery, culture, history, sustainability
The Kulturradtour Vorarlberg is a 250 km cycling route in Austria. It crosses almost the entire state, from the Bielerhöhe pass to the historic town of Feldkirch, combining breathtaking alpine landscapes with cultural landmarks for a unique experience.
The route passes through Montafon, Bludenz, Klostertal, Lech Zürs, Bregenzerwald, and Bregenz on Lake Constance before reaching Feldkirch. Along the way, riders encounter alpine panoramas, traditional village architecture, historic towns, museums, and cultural events. Designed with sustainability in mind, the tour uses existing cycling routes and public roads, accessible to both touring bikes and e-bikes. Culinary education festival in Vorarlberg
Held on June 13–14, 2025, in St. Arbogast above Götzis, the Food Campus Arbogast celebrates food as culture, history, politics, and community. More than sustenance, eating and drinking here become a lens to explore knowledge, creativity, and pleasure.
The festival features inspiring encounters with chefs, producers, authors, and gastrosophers through lectures, workshops, and discussions. Highlights include organic walks, “bread and wine” table talks, and panels on sustainability and gastronomy. Continuing in 2026, the Food Campus fosters xchange, awareness, and a deeper appreciation of food’s cultural role.
