Through Green Destinations Awards Program, the Tourism Directorate of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality documented Selçuk Municipality’s efforts in caring for heritage, the environment, and the climate, as well as in supporting the local community and business sector. As a result, Selçuk was awarded the Silver Award in 2025 as a destination.

In 2025, Selçuk’s “Ephesus Field Life Village – Where Rural Life Sprouts” good practice story was selected among the Top 100 Destination Stories.
