Through Green Destinations Awards Program, the Tourism Directorate of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality documented Urla Municipality’s efforts in caring for heritage, the environment, and the climate, as well as in supporting the local community and business sector. As a result, Urla was awarded the Silver Award in 2025.

In 2024, Urla received the People’s Choice Award in the Top 100 Stories competition with “The Urla Vineyard Route.” In 2025, Urla was once again recognized among the Top 100 Stories with “Where the Soil Tells a Story – GastroFarmUrla: The Seeds of a Dream.
